We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our office environment, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic space for all employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining facilities, with a focus on high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming office spaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas.
- Maintain floors through regular care including buffing and polishing as needed.
- Handle custodial duties such as emptying trash bins and recycling containers.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in designated areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
- Follow established safety protocols while performing cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus.
- Experience in residential painting or porter services is beneficial but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to effectively report issues or concerns.
