Cake and Cupcake Decorator (Evenings/Weekends)

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties and tasks may be assigned)

• Ensure guest satisfaction through adhering to Gigi’s Decorating Standards
• Responsible for prep work, production and decoration of Gigi’s products
• Responsible for washing dishes and maintaining overall store cleanliness
• Must be on time for scheduled shift, dressed in proper uniform and ready to work prior to clocking in
• Assist with and provide excellent Customer Service as needed
• Execution of decorating plans within a reasonable time
• Creativity and pride in decoration, especially cupcakes, cakes, cookies, cheesecakes and special orders
• Exceptional hospitality - both in person and over the phone

OTHER REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS (EDUCATION, SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, ETC.)

• Must have prior kitchen experience
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fast paced, customer service driven environment
• Must be able to effectively communicate with peers, customers, and management
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to Identify and resolve problems, before they happen and as they happen
• Must be able to use reason even when dealing with emotional topics
• Must be able to effectively communicate with peers, customers, and management
• Must be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task, and perform well under pressure
• Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional during all situations
• Must have the ability to retain and protect confidential material
• Must be willing to be crossed trained on all positions

Experience:

• Decorator: 3 years
• Fast Paced: 3 years

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed
