Requirements
- ND License
- 2 Years Experience
- Must have PCU experience & be able to read strips
- BLS
- ACLS
- Epic preferred
- Ok with first time travelers
- Float to all areas as helping hands, PCU for full patient load of PCU, MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/ boarding
- First to float
- 50 miles radius rule
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: adults and geriatrics, Cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and ETOH, Covid Bipap, occasional general surgical with heart history, medical patients with cardiac history, penumonia covid, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, sepsis
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, PCU level care overflow on the unit 1:3
