Requirements
- TN RN License
- 2 years experience
- Advanced skills needed: Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- Documentation system: Meditech-HCA version
- Medications: WOW with med drawers, PyxisES dispensing system
- Floating policy: other M/S areas: general MS, Ortho, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), M/S surgical w oncology. We rotate unless skill mix is needed
- Number of Beds: 30
- Patient Ratio: 5-6 : 1
- Type of equipment: Welch Allyn vitals neuron, Novameter glucose, Philips Telemetry and MP2's
- Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Rounding, Hourly Rounding with 5P's checked. Reporting to PCT's of known needs at beginning and during shifts, Check glass board for dept focus areas, Scrolling video kiosk available as well as email for update references
