Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - PCU 3rd Floor

Shift: Days/ 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOH/EOWLength: 13 Weeks

Can be placed on-call,1,12-hr shift per pay period in the event census drops. Report-in time within 1 hr of being called back.

Requirements

• NC license
• 2 years' experience
• Must have Intermediate Care experience
• Must have Telemetry experience
• Cardiac experience required
• BLS, ACLS, NIH
• EPIC experience required
• Travel experience preferred

Accepting local travelers EOH/EOWCan be placed on-call,1,12-hr shift per pay period in the event census drops. Report-in time within 1 hr of being called back.

All units may handle COVID patients

This unit includes a total of 28 beds PCU/Tele hybrid unit- 20 bed Telemetry level of care unit and 8 hardwired Intermediate Care Unit. Patients include those across the life span for cardiovascular and medical/ surgical needs. Primary population heart failure, chest pain rule out, post cath with and without PCI, post pacemaker/defibrillator implant.Staffing ratio is 1 to 4/5 days, 1 to 5/6 on nights. Floating to appropriate units

Care specifics include CPAP/BiPAP, Antiarrhythmics, Vasopressors, Antihypertensives, Anticoagulants, Sheath / TR band removal
