Position Summary: Provides high-quality and rapid clerical and administrative support to a department by performing various duties. Ensures timely completion of critical tasks.

- Drafts correspondence, schedules appointments, organizes files, and provides information to visitors and callers.
- Takes messages, transfers calls, and answers telephones promptly.
- Greets patients, clients, and providers, records necessary information, and directs them accordingly.
- Schedules appointments with case managers, counselors, and physicians in coordination.
- Makes reminder calls regarding appointments.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to regulations.
- Rapidly responds to patient and client needs.
- Uses computers for database management and word processing.
- Creates, maintains, and enters information into databases.
- Executes and handles paperwork, authorizations, and Release of Information documents.
- Operates office equipment and arranges for repairs when needed.
- Greetings visitors or callers, handle inquiries, and directs them accordingly.
- Maintains knowledge of safety regulations and performs job functions safely.
- May provide crisis intervention assistance with licensed staff members.
- Maintains scheduling calendars.
- Completes forms according to company procedures.
- Distributes mail accurately and on time.
- Maintains and orders office supplies.
- Schedules appointments for clients, customers, and/or management team members.
- Makes copies of correspondence and routes materials properly.
- Demonstrates ability to change priorities and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
- Communicates clearly both orally and in writing.
- High School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred.
- One to three years administrative experience in a medical environment, behavioral health experience preferred.
- Experience working within a Native American environment preferred.
- CPR Certification.
- Fingerprint clearance for TCH only.
- Able to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures.
- Interest in medical subjects, patient services/care, and customer service.
