Job Description
The EVS Floor Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of flooring throughout assigned campus areas.
Critical Tasks:
- Monitor and schedule work to ensure maintenance of established cleanliness standards, considering floor traffic patterns.
- Review daily work orders for adherence to quality standards and inform the EVS Manager of any concerns or issues.
- Assist EVS Supervisors with routine inspections of completed work activities and identify areas requiring attention.
- Follow up on complaints and ensure timely response or resolution to concerns.
- Develop and modify cleaning schedules as needed to address special situations.
- Identify and recommend quality products and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Manage inventory levels of flooring supplies and equipment, recommending replacements as necessary.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1-year institutional cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations, read, and communicate in English.
- State of AZ Driver's License with no significant violations in the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse cultures, specifically the Gila River Indian Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
