Job Description
The Contracts & Grants Writer will assist the Department Directors in assessing needs, planning new programs, researching and writing grants, and securing funding. This role will also support the Department Director in researching, preparing, and administering contracts and agreements for various services.
Critical Tasks:
- Monitor NOFAs, Federal Register, and other notifications of resources available to meet high-priority needs of Gila River Health Care.
- Meet with administrators and directors to review grant opportunities and develop funding priorities.
- Act as a project leader for assigned grant applications, creating timelines and gathering necessary information.
- Assist in developing program strategies, goals, work plans, staffing plans, and budgets.
