What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN RISK MANAGEMENT position at Gila River Health Care Corp?
Position Summary : Under the direction of the Risk Management Manager, this position is responsible for Gila River Health Care's (GRHC) risk management activities. Supports the Risk Manager as appropriate, with the organization's Risk, Patient Safety and Accreditation activities to ensure excellent care and ongoing compliance within established tribal, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
Critical Tasks :
- Accepts and addresses subpoenas, interfacing with legal counsel.
- Administers the risk management program on a day-to-day basis.
- Creates, manages and analyzes risk management data.
- Assists with risk management educational programs.
- Complies with the risk management standards of accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies with the objective of enhancing patient safety, promoting quality care, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the organization.
- At the direction of the Risk Manager, reviews and investigates occurrence reports; coordinates with leaders for recommended actions based on individual reports or trends :
