Gilbane is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to be responsible for the procurement of goods and services, as well as supervising and managing assigned Procurement staff. This role will sit primarily in the office.

Responsibilities
Responsible and accountable for Procurement's compliance with established policies and procedures, including federal regulations
- Participate in development of project execution plans
- Oversee all matters relating to the acquisition of goods and services ffor construction projects.
- Manage procurement resources and direct procurement activities to support the planning and execution of assigned projects
- Administer major purchase orders and subcontracts and participate in major negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
- Plan and budget the procurement resources and systems necessary to support projects.
- Understand changing market conditions with regard to trends in the pricing of materials, equipment and services
- Identify and develop procurement training material, deliver training to procurement and business unit staff
- Mobilization and demobilization of staff supporting projects
- Recruitment, performance reviews, termination and discipline of assigned Procurement staff
- Strategic partner with business unit leadership team
- Mentoring and leadership development
