What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Support Technician position at Gilbarco Veeder-Root?
- Provide excellent customer service to Service Station clients and ensure their satisfaction through quick problem resolution
- Bring the customer’s voice alive within the marketing and engineering teams to drive innovation
- Ensure product quality issues are identified and reported accurately
- Work closely with other departments to enhance their expertise and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Initiate continuous improvement projects.
- Learn, maintain and continuously develop product knowledge and customer service skills
- Experience working in a customer facing role, or equivalent experience requiring active communication via phone/email in a problem-solving context
- Experience in a technical role that requires exposure to troubleshooting or problem solving
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office required
- Able to work scheduled hours between the hours of 8am – 7pm EST
The base compensation range for this position is $31.52 to $36.05 per hour to be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
