Description :
Job consists of the responsibility for the prepping, assembly, testing and / or packing of a variety of electrical, mechanical, and / or electro-mechanical devices. Must be able to use a variety of tools, gages, machines, and simple measuring devices to assure proper conformance to specifications and drawings. May be on feet all day.
- Is responsible to uphold safety, quality, and production standards.
- May perform assembly, finishing, testing, and packing operations and adjust process or product for proper appearance, mechanical, and / or electrical function.
- Following clearly defined process sheets, verbal instructions, visual aids, assembly instruction machinery or model, employee performs specified assembly procedure on a production basis.
- May be required to operate forklift or other material handling devices.
- Completes orders on time and to the required specification.
- Makes changes and adjustments to tools, machines, and fixtures.
- Rejects defective material.
- Handles material as directed to ensure an uninterrupted flow of work.
- Advises on better means to complete the functions within the job and continually improves the operation.
