Cleaner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and other common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages.
• Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that require bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Reliable transportation to commute to various job sites if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
