If you have experience in estate planning and business law, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with strong drafting, consulting and organizing skills who can work full time hybrid (some remote and some in person) at one of our locations. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, contracts, and other documents for our clients and their families. In addition, you will meet with clients and potential clients to build your book of business. The applicant we are looking for must be comfortable with networking, attending business events, consulting with high net worth individuals, and be self-motivated. Attorneys with an entrepreneurial side might be the ideal fit. If this sounds like you, please apply!
Compensation :
65,000 - $90,000 plus bonus
Responsibilities :
Consult with clients on business law, employment law and estate planning needs
Draft estate planning documents
Research and draft memorandums of law for partner on various business law matters
Attend law firm and community networking events
Present on Estate Planning topics to community and groups
Strategize with Partner on how to build efficiencies in law firm management
Qualifications :
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
- 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position
- Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
Experience with Clio Manage and Clio Grow, Wealth Counsel, Calendly, and marketing
