Purpose Statement
The Technology Integration Educator's mission is to help other district teachers successfully deploy technology in the implementation of research-backed teaching and learning pedagogies. Essential Functions
- Plans and delivers technology integration training to district teachers and staff
- Develops curriculum for technology integration training
- Uses research and experience to help teachers create engaging, innovative and effective lessons
- Assists with administration of online testing
- Provides onsite support to teachers at one or more district campus, working as a team with other school and Tech Services personnel to ensure teachers have the tools and knowledge necessary to educate Gilbert students for the world of the future
- Knowledge, desire and ability to stimulate positive change regarding the usage of technology in the district
- Initiate, lead and participate on projects such as rollout of new technologies and teacher development.
- Drives to district schools / sites to perform job functions.
