What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trimmer position at Gilbertville Meat Locker?
Duties may include but not limited to; Cutting and trimming of meat, sausage making, breaking down equipment and cleaning.
Typical day will start between 6 or 8 am and be finished at 5pm or close to it until cleanup is completed. Full time is 30-40 hrs per week with the possibility of overtime
Must be able to lift and carry 50#. Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to follow instructions and be able to work closely with others. Will be around hazards such as knives and saw blades as well as cleaning chemicals/ bleach.
