In this role, you will manage and lead the engineering and design of facility and building systems for Data Centers and other Critical Facilities Projects. You will oversee all phases of project management / project delivery : design, quality control, staffing, and budget management (P & L) while following Industry Best Practices.
Responsibilities :
- Interface with clients to define project requirements and establish project work plans and deadlines.
- Manage client relationships and expectations through effective communication.
- Manage multiple projects, produce engineering proposals (RFPs), and facilitate client meetings / presentations.
- Track progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Generate reports and track project costs and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenses to ensure they fall within the prescribed budget.
- Provide direction and leadership to the project team.
- Work closely with other functional areas, project contractors, internal / external team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Manage business development for new and future projects.
- Lead a team of engineers and technical staff.
