LJC is a growing firm and is recruiting top Interior Designer talent to join our growing team.The Role We Want You ForAs an Interior Designer, you will contribute to a variety of design projects, research, and conduct analysis to support our diverse and innovative Interior Design practice. In this position, you will enhance and assist the practice’s leadership team, helping it to grow and expand its Culver City presence and portfolio through intentional project pursuits and client relationships. This role is collaborative with colleagues and will work across LJC disciplines and our parent company Clayco’s construction and real estate arms to complete projects that are vertically integrated in the enterprise.The Specifics of the RoleParticipates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project in collaboration with the project team.Develops mood boards, material palettes and furniture specification packages and schedules.Prepares and coordinates documentation of the design and formal submission packages.Participates in construction administration activities.Contributes to creation of marketing and presentation materials.Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on design and technical solutions and participate in ongoing client correspondence and communication.Represents LJC in the community and civic events.Practices LJC’s core values of integrity, humility, and fearlessness.Contributes to LJC’s Core Councils (Design, Culture and Sustainability).RequirementsA bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.5 years’ experience with interior design projects sufficient to present a portfolio demonstrating design and technical capabilities.Experience in the Corporate and Hospitality market sectors preferred.Should be registered as an interior designer or architect, or actively working toward licensure.Interest in obtaining LEED- and / or WELL-accreditation desirable.Demonstrated competence with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD / Revit and MS Office.Exemplary written and spoken communication.Comfort and poise presenting to external and internal audiences.Excellent interpersonal relationship-building and colleague coaching skills.Some Things You Should KnowOur clients and projects are nationwide – Travel will be required.We work on creative, complex, award-winning, high-profile jobs across the United States.The pace is fast!Why LJC and Clayco?Best Places to Work – St. Louis Business Journal, Los Angeles Business Journal, Phoenix Business Journal.ENR – Top Midwest Contractors (#1), Top Design Build Contractors (#4), Top 400 Contractors (#20), ENR – Top Green Builders (#5).Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range : $80,000 - $100,000 / - annually, based on qualifications, skills, training, experience, and location.Discretionary Annual Bonus : Subject to company performance and individual contribution.Comprehensive Benefits Package Including : Medical, dental and vision plans, 401k, generous PTO and paid company holidays, employee assistance program, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, learning & development programs and more!#J-18808-Ljbffr
