Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance with efficiency and in alignment with dealership policies and procedures.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems.
- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about their vehicle's condition and any additional services required.
- Estimate the time needed for additional repairs and provide accurate timelines.
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Technician.
- Certifications: ASE Certification required; A-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of new vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and learn new repair techniques.
