Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Hardware knowledge or willingness to learn (Preferred)
- Cash handling or retail experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities include:
- Repairing and servicing small engine and Husqvarna equipment
- Assembling and starting Husqvarna equipment
- Assisting customers with projects and finding items in the store
- Greeting customers as they enter the store
- Cashing out customers
- Cutting keys
- Cleaning and organizing
- Putting away stock
- Pricing and inventory
- Filling propane
- Cutting lumber
We are hiring enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team. We are hiring both cashiers and sales associates who are interested in keeping the store running efficiently and serving our customers and community. The successful candidates will be able to make change quickly, respond to customer inquiries and offer suggestions, stock merchandise and use their extensive product knowledge to make customers feel welcomed and appreciated. We are looking for candidates with a passion for customer service, who can support a fast-paced environment, and who possess excellent cash handling skills and communication skills. Basic computer skills are encouraged. Experience in retail or hardware preferred but not required.
This particular position involves servicing and repairing small engine and Husqvarna equipment as their main responsibility. This individual must have a background and interest in repairing small engine or automotive experience. Husqvarna training and certification will be provided via an online portal that can be completed on the employee's own time. When there are no repairs, the employees responsibilities fall back to sales floor duties.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week
