Gill Studios, Inc. established in 1934 is a privately owned company. We are a leading manufacturer of quality printed products specializing in decals, labels, bumper stickers, and signage. Our facility in Lenexa Kansas has easy access to the 435/I35/K10 exchange. We are currently hiring for the following:
Hours - Monday - Friday - 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Overview:
Training provided. Candidate(s) will be chosen based on mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Previous Printing/Machine Operator and knowledge of the printing industry is a plus.
Requirements:
- Comply with established safety guidelines
- Enjoy a fast paced, attention to detail, collaborative working environment
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately, to successfully match a press proof
- Demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend and write the English language at a level to communicate effectively and interpret written sales order instructions
- Strong interpersonal, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Take ownership and care of the equipment
- Attention to cleanliness of equipment and work area

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- Monitor and adjust press settings to maintain print quality and color accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure printed materials meet specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating printing presses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common press issues
