Position Summary
The Legal Support Specialist, provides high-level administrative and practice-specific support to corporate practice group attorneys. Responsibilities include complex assignments like corporate database searches, drafting certificates, and preparing transitional documents. Candidates with prior experience in corporate securities practice, be tech-savvy, and perform tasks accurately preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Performs administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, travel arrangements, and processing invoices. Supports attorneys by tracking deadlines, updating case info, maintaining legal files, and drafting documents. Processes attorney time entries, opens new matters, drafts engagement letters, and screens calls. Assists with contracts, maintains corporate records, conducts UCC lien searches, manages document deliveries, and compiles post-transactional closings. Prepares and files legal documents, collaborates with the support team, attends meetings, leverages firm resources, and handles special projects.
