About the Job
Gillespie Group is seeking a skilled Grounds Technician to join our team. As a key member of our grounds crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures
- Conduct daily trash pick up and removal of debris from parking lots, carports, and sidewalks
- Perform routine tasks such as weeding, watering flowers, and trimming shrubs
- Prepare apartments for new tenants by painting and making minor repairs
- Collaborate with the service supervisor to ensure seamless daily operations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or related experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, HVAC systems, and carpentry an asset
