Job Summary
The Sales and Leasing Coordinator will support the Business Development Strategist and the broader team by handling key administrative tasks and facilitating communication between brokers, tenants, and prospects. This role will focus on property listings, market research, and outreach to identify leasing opportunities, ensuring smooth operations throughout the leasing process.
Key Responsibilities
While daily activities and team support needs may shift from time to time, this position generally is responsible for:
PROPERTY LISTINGS MANAGEMENT
- Manage and update property listings across major platforms such as LoopNet, CPIX, and CREXI.
- Ensure listings are accurate, up-to-date, and include all relevant property details and media to attract potential tenants.
- Regularly update property status, availability, and any changes to listings.
OUTREACH AND PROSPECTING
- Assist in canvassing, outreach, and prospecting efforts to identify potential tenants and leasing opportunities.
- Support the team in generating leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling, emailing, and attending industry and networking events.
- Foster relationships with potential tenants, brokers, and industry professionals to cultivate long-term connections and leasing opportunities.
BROKER AND PROSPECTIVE TENANT COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT
- Organize and maintain records of all communications with brokers and prospective tenants, ensuring accurate documentation and easy access for future reference.
- Help maintain a database of prospects and opportunities to track progress and follow-up efforts.
- Provide administrative support to ensure timely and professional communication with brokers, tenants, and prospects.
- Assist in drafting correspondence and responses to inquiries as needed.
SCHEDULING AND COORDINATING PROPERTY SHOWINGS
- Schedule and coordinate property showings for prospective tenants, ensuring all logistics are in place (e.g., property access, client availability).
- Facilitate tenant meetings, providing necessary materials and support for discussions.
- Ensure a seamless experience for all parties involved in property showings and meetings.
MARKET RESEARCH AND TREND IDENTIFICATION
- Conduct market research to track leasing trends and identify potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, identifying key trends, market shifts, and opportunities to inform leasing strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research to support decision-making for the leasing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Relevant experience and industry certifications may be considered in place of formal education.
- Real Estate Salesperson license is not required but preferred
- 2 years of business development, sales, or marketing experience.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and with a team; demonstrates openness to collaboration and accountability.
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Good analytical skills, including data collection and presentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Works with a sense of urgency to achieve the best outcome for the company. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
