What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Technician position at Gillette Steel Center?
The warehouse technician works with equipment to efficiently & safely handle steel shipments to and from the warehouse. The position works in a team environment and must be accountable and steady with the job. Working with other warehouse employees effectively and having good communication skills is very important to this job.
Knowledge or experience working with still is preferred. We will train to help the Technician become comfortable with all grades & sizes in the warehouse.
Previous forklift and overhead crane experience is a must.
Safe background working with equipment in and around others is very important to this job.
Candidate must have a good work ethic and be able to work alone.
Strong attendance is a must as well.
