Job Description
We have an immediate opening for an Asset Manager. This position directly manages a portfolio of market-rate multifamily properties in the Inland Empire and some out of state.
Location : Westwood or Irvine HQ. This position is BOOTS ON THE GROUND you are expected to work directly with all sites assigned to you out of an almost 40 property portfolio. A good portion of these properties are in the Inland Empire. There are some out of state.
Asset Manager Responsibilities :
- Appropriately manage assigned investments and drive the business plan
- Identify and analyze issues and recommend solutions
- Monitor investment, property, and market / sub-market performance
- Some financial reporting
- Periodically visit properties evaluating conditions, renovations, repairs etc.
- Actively monitor portfolio performance including property performance issues and trends, management, and market issues and trends
- Coordinate responses to partners and lenders. Ensure that data reported to partners and lenders is timely and accurate
- Proactively communicate to Partners on any issues that materially impact portfolio, asset-level risk, or relationships with investors
- Foster an environment of, and professionally display alignment with, our client's company values
Qualifications :
Compensation : Market base salary with performance bonus. Final compensation is based on abilities of candidates.
