What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Accounting/Inventory Clerk position at Gillman Automotive Group?
The Gillman Companies is an established group of family owned automobile dealerships based out of Houston, TX with dealerships in Houston, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley. We have served the automotive needs of Texas since 1938 by maintaining a long-established tradition of excellence and customer satisfaction.
We currently have an opportunity available for a Cash Receipts/Inventory Clerk with the San Anotonio, TX complex.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
- Stock in and post new and used inventory to respective inventory accounts.
- Report sales of all new vehicle sales to respective manufacturers.
- Post all wholesales and dealer trades to general ledger.
- Post daily bank report to general ledger.
- Post previous day credit card transactions to general ledger.
- Review general ledger reports for accuracy.
- Receipt all checks for daily remote deposit.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
