Job Description
We are seeking a Part Time Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing checkout transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe working area.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a positive manner, answer questions, and resolve any concerns or issues they may have.
- Checkout Transactions: Process customer orders, invoices, and returns according to established store policies and procedures.
- Inventory Maintenance: Assist with cycle counts, price updates, and other inventory maintenance tasks as needed.
- Store Maintenance: Clean common areas, remove trash, sweep the parking lot and sidewalk, and shovel snow when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Customer Service Experience: 1-2 years preferred.
- Retail Experience: 1-2 years preferred.
