What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Technician position at Gillmann Services, Inc.?
Gillmann Services is now hiring experienced auto body technicians for work in and around Beckley, WV!
**Must have experience to be considered- looking for “A” technicians**
Responsibilities:
- Review vehicles on intake to determine repairs needed
- Remove vehicle trim and fixtures to assess damage
- Use mud/filler to repair gaps and depressions
- Use shop machinery and welding equipment to restore body segments, frame
- Inspect completed work to ensure vehicle meets specifications
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety guidelines
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in all aspects of automotive body repair (frame work, mud work, sheet metal, welding etc.)
- Comfortable with all hand and power tools required of the trade
- Ability to work independently and complete projects on timeline
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and lift 75 lbs throughout duration of shift
- Reliable transportation
- Consent to drug and background screening
