Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical work.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Support the team in framing carpentry as needed during electrical installations.
- Conduct tests on electrical systems using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience or coursework in commercial electrical work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous.
- Understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the electrical trade.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices at all times.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials as required on job sites.
