Pipe Layer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipe layer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to operate heavy machinery effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of pipelines, including water, sewer, and gas lines.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and layout.
• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and forklifts to assist in the installation process.
• Conduct utility locating to ensure safe digging practices and avoid damage to existing utilities.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks to ensure timely project completion.
• Perform concrete forming as needed for pipeline installations.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Experience

• Proven experience in pipe laying or related construction roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including bulldoze and backhoe operation.
• Knowledge of pipeline installation techniques and materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
• Experience with welding is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
