- Ability to read a tape measure and input numbers into equipment.
- Attention to detail and quality control to check parts during production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with housekeeping tasks regularly, as directed by the Shop Foreman.
- Perform a variety of tasks assigned by the Shop Foreman.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe manner following safety guidelines.
- Manufacture steel rebar by cutting, bending to specified angles and dimensions using rebar bender machinery.
- Tie and perform other necessary processes to meet project material specifications.
- Input numbers into equipment and check parts as they are being made to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Previous experience with steel rebar and machinery is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- *Occasionally, longer hours and Saturday work may be required based on workload.*
