Ag Technician

2-3 years experience servicing and repairing either small engines, heavy equipment, diesel engines, powersports equipment or lawn and garden equipment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and failures. Individuals would also possess excellent computer skills, good interpersonal skills and be extremely customer focused. Applicant must be able to perform complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer agricultural and turf equipment.

• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.

• Respond promptly to customer needs and manage difficult customer situations.
• Completely fill out and turn in all work orders.
• Continually seek technical and product knowledge, staying abreast of the new developments, study and follow OEM recommendations.
• Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment
• Documents any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns on work order
• Maintains current knowledge of equipment
• Maintains condition all tools and equipment
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required when fulfilling work assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• 4 years of experience performing service repairs
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Ability to use POS and basic computer functions
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a truck with a trailer.
• Willing to work a 40 hours per week and longer hours as required to meet customer demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,500.00 per year
