Summary:
Gilmer, LLC is looking for a shipping and receiving clerk for our Macon facility. The shipping and receiving clerk assists customers on all issues, acts as a liaison between the customer and Gilmer Warehouse, LLC personnel, answers questions, offers solutions, and researches issues in a timely, positive, and professional manner.
Duties:
· Use IFS to print out Pick sheet packets for the day.
· Sort, create, and assign Pick Sheet packets.
· Answer Multi-line telephone system
· Attend to the driver sign in window to sign drivers in and provide them with the appropriate paperwork for the loads that are being picked up.
· Create BOL’s and closing orders out in IFS
· Schedule pickup and labeling for FEDEX orders daily.
· Label and take pictures of all ABF orders daily.
· Upload shared documents and photos
· Keep various spreadsheets up to date for tracking purposes.
· Identify return-to-stock orders and assign for put away.
· Create and execute tasks in IFS to move inbound stock into location or out of location
· File various daily paperwork
· Communicate with IFS through E-mail and phone calls when needed.
· Coordinate with the picking teams on any orders that are cancelled or become live
· Identify Drop in loads and issue them in a timely manner
· Track Daily KPI’s and report daily
· Assist with inventory cycle counting
· Maintain orderly desk area with information available to all associates and customers as needed.
· Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
- Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS.
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- RF experience
- Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
Available Shifts: Monday - Friday 7:45am – 4:30pm
