The Role:

As an Automotive Salesperson at CDJR of Gilroy, you will play a vital role in delivering a top-notch car-buying experience. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, present vehicle options, and guide them through the sales process. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, self-motivated, and passionate about automobiles, with a commitment to achieving personal and dealership sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and determine their needs and preferences to provide a personalized vehicle selection experience.

• Present and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits in an engaging and professional manner.

• Guide customers through the entire sales process, from vehicle selection and negotiation to closing the deal.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing ongoing support and follow-up after the sale.

• Achieve individual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the dealership.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, features, and market trends.

• Collaborate with finance, service, and management teams to ensure a smooth, seamless buying process for customers.

• Participate in dealership events, promotions, and community outreach efforts.

• Utilize dealership CRM software to manage leads, track customer interactions, and follow up effectively.

What You Bring:

• Strong passion for automobiles and a desire to help customers find the right vehicle.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain long-term relationships.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Prior automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay with an earning range of $80,000 to $200,000 per year (including base salary, commissions, and bonuses).
