OBJECTIVE
As a member of the Gilson Sales Team, the Account Manager will focus on retaining and increasing business within a select group of established customers. The primary responsibilities include building customer loyalty, acting as a team leader, and coordinating resources within the company to ensure exceptional service across all departments.
SUPERVISOR
Position reports to the Sales Managers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work alongside Sales Managers, Estimating, and Customer Service Teams to:
- Handle production specifications, job planning/estimate requests, project management, production team questions, and invoicing of all jobs associated with a select number of accounts
- Attend client meetings to discuss new project initiatives
- Manage account relationships, communicate client deadline expectations and/or delays
- Be responsive & available to clients to build customer rapport
- Develop knowledge of Gilson’s products and services to facilitate successful Account Management efforts
- Seek new relationships within existing accounts to sell additional services / prospect new areas of business
- Use our CRM tool to report information about current and prospective clients, keep track of daily communications, and participate in current Marketing initiatives
- Be an avid spokesperson for Gilson, representing the company in a consistent professional manner
- Local and intermittent National travel anticipated
REQUIREMENTS

Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred
- Participation in a variety of professional training programs
Experience
- Sales or Project Management in the print or marketing industries is preferred but not required
