POSITION DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVE
As a member of the Gilson Customer Service department, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring work is organized and scheduled and communication within and between the departments, sales staff, and the customer is handled on a daily basis.
SUPERVISOR
Position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account management
- Inventory management
- Be the expert of your customers and the internal projects
- Order entry
- Job planning
- Follow-up of daily job schedules
- Direct the purchasing of materials
- Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Performs duties consistent with the company’s goals and policies
REQUIREMENTS
To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to fulfill each role and perform each responsibility listed above. The following qualifications are representative of the education and training, experience, knowledge, and skills required.
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred
Experience
- Knowledge of offset/digital printing and mechanical finishing operations preferred, but not required
- Fulfillment, mailing, and large format experience preferred, but not required
Attitude
- High expectations of self and others
- Demonstrated commitment to quality
- Detail oriented with good problem solving in a data-driven environment
- Positive attitude with internal and external customers
Knowledge and Aptitude
- Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and general understanding of graphic arts software (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
- Proper file management on computer desktop and office servers
- Pace, PrintStream, and other software programs or processes as directed by management
Communications Skills
- Communicate effectively with people from sales, production, and the client
- Read, analyze, and interpret written information
- Present information verbally and respond to questions
- Deal successfully with difficult people and/or situations
Team Skills
- Work as a team member of the Gilson Customer Service team
- Build effective working relationships with others
- Present information and help solve problems in conjunction with co-workers and management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
