Detailed Responsibilities
- Training Programs Development
- Update, maintain, develop, and implement training programs for all positions, aligned with company standards and goals
- Update, maintain, develop, and implement training programs for all new venue openings aligned with budgets, company standards and goals
- Design and facilitate training programs for managers and supervisors to enhance leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Create training materials, including manuals, SOPs, e-learning modules, and videos tailored to the needs of each concept
- Ideate, manage and contribute content for the Company’s online education platform
- Develop tailored positional “roadmaps” for high-potential employees to support career progression and succession planning
- Develop and implement testing for all positions, both ongoing and menu specific
- New Venue Training Plan Execution
- Assemble bar, culinary and service training Task Force in alignment with opening budgets and G&L Ops team
- Update opening sequence and training documents in collaboration with G&L Ops team
- Assist in preparation of Training Modules and Materials
- Participate in training of venue management
- Participate in training of venue staff
- Participate in the organization, build out and systems set up of new venues, as needed
- Coach and mentor leadership teams on how to effectively train new and existing employee performance
- Ongoing Staff Development
- Execute positional Skills Assessments across all venues and manage or execute follow up performance coaching, as needed
- Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and skill-building exercises for team members, both in-person and remote
- Execute regular Site Visits (according to site visit schedule and budgets) to monitor and maintain Quality Control, Speed & Efficiency and Technique
- Contribute to yearly G&L, beverage and culinary leadership training summits, participate in summit trainings as needed
- Act as a resource for leadership teams in the area of training best practices and resources
- Execute ongoing B&M bi-annual new hire trainings (according to site visit schedule and budgets) to ensure standards and expectations are understood and upheld
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into training content to maintain innovation and relevance
- Collaborate with G&L National and General Managers to ensure leadership teams are equipped to execute ongoing and everyday training and programs
- Coach and mentor leadership teams on how to effectively train new and existing employee performance
- Speed, Efficiency and Quality Control
- Develop and implement training protocols to improve the speed and efficiency of bartenders, hosts, and servers, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed service goals
- Conduct regular audits of service and operational standards to ensure consistency across locations. Utilize in person visits, End of Night Reports, online reviews, and other forms of staff and guest feedback to ensure G&L standards are met and exceeded
- Establish and enforce quality control standards for food, beverage, and guest experience, ensuring consistency across all locations
- Establish production timeline goals in collaboration with Food & Beverage Directors and ensure set production goals are met
- Execute food and beverage production time trials
- Provide feedback and coaching based on observations and production times to improve individual and team performance
- Create audit materials to share feedback with G&L National and B&M Management
- Other
- Manage and execute required state and national food and liquor service certifications (ie TIPS, ServSafe, etc)
- Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of leadership training initiatives, adjusting content and delivery methods based on feedback and results
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics, employee feedback, and guest satisfaction scores
- Report on training outcomes and areas for improvement to Executive and Operations Team
- Participate in marketing initiatives, as needed
- From time to time, contribute to public relations, press inquiries and marketing initiatives in a professional manner as directed by the Company. This may include verbal, written, radio, video or online interviews, and photos. All press inquiries related to Gin & Luck and its subsidiaries made directly to you must be referred to the Company
- Contribute to content creation for the Gin & Luck online education platform, Fashioned
