Senior Packaging Designer
Summary:
We are looking for a Senior packaging designer to join our team who has a passion for creating packaging for our legwear department. Responsibilities:
- Liaise with our manufacturing partners, overseeing the submission of artwork and the receipt of proofs for approval.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail when reviewing proofs to uphold brand consistency and standards.
- Proficiently interpret dielines and measurements to ensure optimal product-to-packaging alignment.
- Update all dieline artwork to accurate scale, incorporating correct colors and information.
- Oversee management of all brand and private label packaging.
- Enhance existing packaging by refining verbiage to better align with product specifications and buyer requests.
- Develop comprehensive brand guides for hosiery based on licensor standards when onboarding new brands.
- Explore innovative packaging solutions through market research and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with sales teams to enhance product representation for specific accounts.
- Utilize Illustrator for packaging artwork, with occasional photo editing in Photoshop.
- Generate fresh and imaginative concepts for gift box designs based on emerging trends.
- Create mockups for presentations as required.
- Supervise freelance designers on a project-by-project basis.

- Must have experience in accessories packaging.
- Exceptional attention to detail, encompassing alignment, font consistency, and correct branding.
- Understanding of typography principles and their varied application across brands.
- Strong time management and project management skills.

- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, adhering to Time & Action calendars.

NY Pay Transparency:
The pay range for this position is ($85,000 – $95,000) annually based on skills and experience.
