Summary:
Giner Labs is a renowned center of excellence in electrochemical research and development. We are inviting imaginative and resourceful individuals to join Giner’s pioneering biosensor research and development programs. Ideal candidates will hold a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, biological engineering, or related fields. The candidate will be responsible for developing novel biosensor assays and platforms and should have a strong background in molecular biology techniques including PCR, DNA/RNA handling, gel electrophoresis, and ELISA. Prior experience in electrochemical-based biosensor technologies is desirable, but not required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be capable of planning and executing experiments, analyzing data and presenting findings, managing multiple projects, and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Grant writing experience is also considered valuable for this role.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree with approximately 2 years of additional technical experience in biosensor development.
  • Experience in standard molecular biological protocols and techniques including PCR, gel electrophoresis, and nucleic acid isolation/purification.
  • Experience in ELISA and other immunoassays.
  • Experience handling biological samples (blood, saliva, urine, and other biological fluids).
  • Organized, clear, and detailed documentation of lab protocols, progress, and results.

Not required but preferred:
  • Bioconjugation and surface modification techniques.
  • Electrochemical-based biosensor technologies.
  • Microfluidic-based biomedical sensors.
