Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Full-Time Clinical Culinary Supervisor. The Clinical Culinary Supervisor assists the Clinical Nutrition Manager with all Culinary Services activities. The focus on ensuring client satisfaction while leading and motivating their team to exceed resident expectations and uphold high standards.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the efficiency of the Health Center and Assisted Living meal service.
- Collects and organizes meals and menu counts and related paperwork.
- Maintains accurate resident records as required. Maintains familiarity with resident diet modifications.
- Supervises and trains Health Center and Assisted Living Culinary staff; provides input on evaluations and discipline process.
- Scheduling for Dietary Aides in the HC and Assisted Living or other regulated areas for Culinary Services.
- Manage the tray ticket software to ensure nutritional compliance for the residents of Ginger Cove.
- Supervises nourishment preparation and distribution.
- Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and coworkers.
- Ensures organization, sanitation, and safety in Health Center dining areas, kitchen, and storage.
- Responsible for the day-to-day success of regulated dining areas.
- Ability to work as a Cook or Dietary Aide if the need arises.
- Oversees food portioning, presentation, and special diet services.
- Attends required training and staff meetings.
- Complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare, senior services, restaurant, or food-related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with elderly individuals.
- SERVSafe certification required.
- Certified Dietary Manager preferred or able to complete certification within 12 months
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must have a valid federal ID.
- Must present a professional appearance.
