Position Overview:
We’re seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media Creative Design Assistant to support the creation, design, and management of engaging visual content across digital platforms. This part-time hybrid role is perfect for someone who’s organized, self-motivated, and passionate about branding, design, and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design eye-catching graphics, videos, and stories for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Support with the creation of branded content, including Reels, carousels, and downloadable freebies
- Maintain and update content templates in Canva or Adobe for consistent branding
- Stay current on social media trends and provide creative input for fresh content ideas
- Assist in organizing digital assets, managing timelines, and meeting project deadlines
- Occasionally help with client content curation, engagement, and light community management
- Provide administrative and creative support for client campaigns, launches, and brand events
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience editing short-form videos (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Familiarity with social media platforms, their functions, and visual trends
- Strong eye for typography, color, and layout
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Clear communication and collaborative spirit
- Previous marketing, branding, or creative agency experience is a plus
Position Details:
- 10–15 hours per week to start, with potential to grow
- Flexible hours; hybrid role with some local in-person collaboration as needed
- Must have access to own computer, high-speed internet, and design software/tools
