Ginsberg’s Foods in Hudson, NY is looking to hire a full-time Custodian!

Weekly Work Schedule: Mondays – Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
Pay: $17.50/hr with the opportunity to earn annual performance-based raises and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
You must be able to comfortably lift up to 80lbs for this position as you will frequently be lifting, standing and bending throughout the shift.
You will be required to work in multi-temperature environments on occasion for short periods of time, some of which reach subzero.
Our Custodians are responsible for the necessary overall upkeep in and around the warehouse, as well as the offices, bathrooms and common areas during the week. While on the job, you will learn how to operate a powered floor scrubber, become familiar with the layout of the facility, all while maintaining a safe and clean work environment for all.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Assisting with corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance needs in a timely fashion.
- Identifies, reports, and assists in building and equipment repair needs.
- Performs regular warehouse floor maintenance; sweeps and mops, operates powered floor scrubber, etc.
- Maintains inventory of maintenance, operational and janitorial supplies.
- Observes all safety, product handling and security guidelines and follows Safety/HACCP procedures.
