We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in calibration processes and be proficient in various technical skills. The Calibration Technician will work closely with engineering teams and field service personnel to support calibration activities in both controlled environments and on-site locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of instruments and equipment according to established procedures and standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Fabricate components as necessary to support calibration processes.
- Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical drawings related to calibration setups.
- Conduct field service calibrations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with distributed control systems to ensure proper functionality of equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration activities, including results and any corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve calibration processes and implement best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC operations is highly desirable.
- Strong electrical knowledge, particularly in hydraulics and control systems.
- Experience with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for calibration tasks.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for technical documentation.
- Experience in field service environments, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of military standards related to calibration processes is a plus.
