Qualifications

Experience:

• Bartender, 1 year (REQUIRED)
• Server, 1 year (PREFERRED)

Duties:

• Prepare drinks in a quick and efficient manner in accordance with standard recipes.
• Work closely and efficiently with other bartenders during your shift to ensure seamless guest service.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely matter.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with their experience. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Maintain a clean stocked bar.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow coworkers as situations arise.
• Perform assigned side work at the start and end of each shift.
• Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift.

Requirements:

• Have working knowledge of standard drink recipes.
• Have working knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
• Understand the classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names, and garnishes.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a positive attitude and an ability to work well under pressure with coworkers.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
