About the Role – Process Technician
As a Process Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all batches meet our high food safety and quality standards. You'll be responsible for:
- Verify Ingredients and Recipe Accuracy: Ensure ingredients are correctly weighed, staged, and verified before adding them to each batch.
- Cook with Precision: Use your skills to cook ingredients to exact specifications, applying advanced techniques such as sautéing.
- Maintain Quality Control: Perform process checks to ensure product quality, and accurately document each batch.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Demonstrate full understanding of HACCP, GMP’s, SSOP’s, and plant safety policies.
- Team Leadership: Assign tasks to Process Assistants and cross-train team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with sanitation guidelines.
- Operate Equipment: Use tools such as hand pumps, scales, hand jacks, and forklifts, ensuring smooth product flow.
- Documentation: Complete and sign all necessary paperwork and ensure all raw materials are properly marked.
