Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal departments as well as our clients to create precise and innovative home designs. You will play a key role in bringing our clients’ visions to life, making adjustments and recommendations on the fly, and ensuring a seamless design experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, interior design, and marketing, to develop detailed architectural drawings, 2D floor plans, and 3D renderings.
• Conduct in-person meetings with homebuyers to understand their vision, discuss design ideas, and make real-time adjustments to floor plans.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools to produce accurate and visually appealing drawings.
• Review project specifications and translate client requirements into functional, creative designs.
• Work closely with construction teams to ensure designs align with practical building constraints and local codes.
• Provide creative input to innovate and improve existing processes and designs.
• Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the design process, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to continually bring fresh ideas to the table.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Drafting, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Chief Architect (experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry standard drafting software will be considered)
• Experience drawing 2D floor plans, as well as producing realistic 3D renderings
• Strong understanding of building codes, design principles, construction materials, and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused, collaborative approach.
• Highly Organized, ability to multitask, manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• 3 years of experience in architectural drafting and design
• Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• A passion for innovation and openness to exploring new ideas and methods.
