Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery, including press brake machines and forklifts, within a manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including press brake machines and other tooling equipment, to ensure proper functioning and output quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize logic controllers and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to maintain precision in manufacturing processes.
- Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to verify product specifications.
- Collaborate with team members in a warehouse environment to facilitate the movement of materials and finished products.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines, forklifts, and other industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of logic controllers and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Understanding of tooling processes and GD&T principles is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability for tasks.
