About the Position:
The Aquatics Director plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for campers and staff at the waterfront/pool. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate others and provide support and instruction to staff members.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of three seasons of previous waterfront experience.
- Certification in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Waterfront Lifeguard.
- Valid certification in American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or Equivalent.
- A valid in-person testing certificate for the ARC Lifeguard Management course.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry items over 15 lbs, navigate rough terrain, and be comfortable being active for extended durations.
