About the Role:
The Aquatics Director is a key member of the camp team, responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for campers and staff at the waterfront/pool. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and other stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of three seasons of previous waterfront experience.
- Certification in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Waterfront Lifeguard.
- Valid certification in American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or Equivalent.
- A valid in-person testing certificate for the ARC Lifeguard Management course.
- Ability to engage and work effectively with children, staff, and other stakeholders.
